Jig Grinder.
Jig Grinder must be able to operate Moor Jig Grinders, working from drawings and sketches using manual machine shop equipment.
Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications :
- Experience working with Moore G-18 Jig Grinders or similar Jig Grinders.
- Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.
- Able to produce accurate work (tolerances reach .0005” of an inch).
- Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
- Good understanding of feeds and speeds pertaining to various materials.
- Proficient in fixture and part setup.
- Skilled using various gaging equipment (OD/ID micrometers, depth gages, height gages, bore gages etc.)
- A solid background in reading drawings conforming to ASME Y14.5 standards.
Minimum 5 years Jig Grinding experience (Moore G-18 or similar Jig Grinders).Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.Able to produce accurate work.Mathematical machining skills required.Proficient working with Moore G-18 or similar Jig Grinders
